Wendy Kraemer is the owner of ABC Sealcoating, a locally owned asphalt maintenance company serving Clark and Cowlitz Counties and the greater Portland-Vancouver area.

For commercial properties, ABC Sealcoating helps property owners, facility managers, HOAs, and businesses protect their pavement, improve curb appeal, create safer and more organized traffic flow, and reduce trip hazards and liability concerns caused by potholes and uneven pavement. Services include sealcoating, crack sealing, pothole and infrared asphalt repair, sweeping, curb painting, ADA pavement markings, and striping for parking lots, parking garages, and warehouses.

ABC Sealcoating also partners with plumbers, electricians, utility contractors, and other trades to restore asphalt after utility cuts. Infrared repair reheats and blends the new asphalt with the surrounding pavement, creating a thermally bonded repair that helps reduce the seams and water-entry points associated with traditional cut-and-patch repairs.

Wendy manages customer relationships, estimating, scheduling, and business operations, while her husband, Larry, oversees much of the fieldwork and on-site estimating. Together, they are building a company known for integrity, exceptional quality, honest recommendations, thorough preparation, clear communication, and standing behind their work.

Before entering the asphalt industry, Wendy spent more than 30 years as a registered nurse and healthcare administrator. That experience continues to shape the way she leads, with an emphasis on service, responsibility, compassion, problem-solving, and keeping her word.

Outside of work, Wendy enjoys traveling with Larry, spending time with their family and grandchildren, cooking, reading, writing, and watching baseball and hockey. One of her greatest dreams is to create the Eager Beaver Lodge, an intergenerational community where neurodivergent adults and older adults who might otherwise live in retirement or care facilities can build meaningful relationships, support one another, contribute their strengths, and experience purpose, independence, and a genuine sense of belonging.
